Davosa X-Agon Watch - Originality Rhymes with Success

Nov 17, 2010
The watchmaking house of Davosa has fascinated its admirers by launching its new X-Agon model, inspired by the Art-Deco style.

The marvelous timepiece demonstrates an elegant rectangular case, manufactured from stainless steel 316L. Composed of five individual, perfectly assembled parts, it has a width of 33 mm and a length equal to 37,5mm. The model is capable of withstanding water pressures down to 5 atm.

The flanks and back side of the new Davosa watch capture attention with their hexagonal shape. The case is equipped with screwed lugs and a fluted onion crown, positioned at 3 o’clock. The winding crown is marked with the Davosa star.

The timepiece watch is adorned with an exquisitely balanced two-level dial. It can be dressed in black, slate-grey, bronze-brown or silver. The inner dial is encircled by a white-painted minute graduation. It upper part comprises the brand’s logo, while its lower section features a white large Arabic numeral, nestled at 6 o’clock. Above this very number the watch owner can see an inscription “Automatic”.

The outer part of the display is equipped with bold stick-shaped hour-markers, also clothed in white. They are joined by a large Arabic numeral at 12 o’clock. The dial of the new X-Agon watch ensures hours, minutes and seconds, indicated by means of white central hands. The display is visually balanced by a date exhibition window, positioned at 6 o’clock.

The aforementioned functions are brought to life by a Swiss-made self-winding ETA 2824-2 calibre movement. It incorporates a balance wheel, which can be admired through a round, glass window in the 4-pinned, screw-down case-back.

Keeping the timepiece secured to the wearer’s wrist is a heavy, satined, polished, linked strap, closed with a double foldable clasp. It can be also accessorized with a matt calf skin leather strap.

The new Davosa watch has been also released in a black PVD-treated version or an interpretation, highlighted by the sparkle of 38 diamonds.
