May 31, 2010
The revolutionary “WatchTester” display case from the renowned horological company Hublot has recently arrived to the challenging watchmaking scene. Placed at the front of the Hublot stand, this innovation saw its world premiere at the Basel Fair, where the discerning audience was offered an exclusive opportunity to try out a Hublot watch.

In the course of the event, the showcase was successfully tested over 38,000 times! Now, it can be used by general public, willing to try watches of different models, sizes and colors.

Some people think that Hublot watches are too oversized to be exposed on their wrists. Created intentionally for Hublot by Xavier Dietlin, an artisan metalworker, the "WatchTester" enables the customer to slide his wrist into the showcase and see what model fits him perfectly. Inside this device the manufacture offers four different sizes of watches, performed in a variety of colors and materials.

The attendee can easily adjust the height of the display case until it feels comfortable, put afterwards his wrist into a special glass tube and try on the watches presented on display. This procedure permits the visitor to make sure what timepiece looks best on his wrist, admirably expressing his personality.

A true achievement in the timekeeping art, the Hublot “WatchTester” showcase is sure to win the brand of Hublot an even greater number of fans.
