Last week, in Paris, Ralph Lauren established its first watch salon. The new shopping venue is situated within the brand’s largest five-storied boutique, extending over 2,150 square meters. It occupies the space in a historical building, constructed in the mid-1600s. Lots of its areas are protected as a national monument.
Redesigned in the French rococo style, the interior of the new store exudes stateliness and elegance, which totally convey the spirit of the building’s architecture. According to Ralph Lauren, Chairman and CEO of Polo Ralph Lauren, he ardently wished to create a special environment that would reflect the glamour, culture, and the artistic spirit of Paris. The inauguration of this exclusive boutique in Boulevard Saint Germain implies turning his dream into reality.
The new watch store covers an area of 20 square meters, regarded as the space’s premiere location.
Managed by three full-time watch experts, this grand area is situated to the right of the entrance. Just across the space mentioned, the accessories boutique is located. The rest of the ground floor area is occupied by Ralph’s, a restaurant, which serves the beef from Lauren’s own ranch. The upper four floors are devoted to fashion.
The watch section exhibits Ralph Lauren’s three existing model lines: the Ralph Lauren Stirrup, the Slim Classique and the Sporting. The range embraces the new creations, presented at S.I.H.H. watch exhibition, held in January. This watch store will also propose an exclusive series of Stirrup straps, manufactured from denim-blue alligator skin.
The new boutique successfully follows the steps of Ralph Lauren’s two previous Paris locations. Place de la Madeleine, offering menswear and womenswear, was opened in 1986. The Avenue Montaigne shopping area, stocked with womenswear and watches, was established last year.
