Meet Waltham Lone Eagle SW45 Watch

Mar 17, 2011
The timepiece maker Waltham has proudly unveiled its new Lone Eagle SW45 watch, inspired by the 1950s - the revolutionary era in aviation.

The new Waltham watch is embodied in 45 mm case, manufactured from steel. Its front side is shielded by a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The screw-down back side is engraved with an eagle - the brand's symbol.

Housed in the new Waltham Lone Eagle SW45 watch is a black dial. It is equipped with luminescent Arabic numerals and propeller-shaped hour and minute hands.

The display also features small seconds and 30-minute flyback chronograph counters, located at 3 and 9 oclock respectively. The date information appears in the aperture at 6 oclock. Moreover, the dial offers a GMT function.

The new Waltham watch is powered by an automatic Dubois Depraz 3142 calibre movement, officially certified as a chronometer by the COSC.

A black buffalo leather strap with 4 rivets and a folding clasp rounds off the consummate appearance of the model.
