Extremely modern, the novelty at the same time bows to classical watchmaking traditions. It employs an 18-carat gold case. The measurements of the new Voutilainen watch are 39mm x 11.5mm. At 3 o’clock, it features a crown, also done in 18-carat gold. Both front and back sides of the case are fitted with sapphire crystals. The top glass is glare-proofed.
The new Voutilainen Vingt-8 wristwatch is constructed around a 30mm x 5.60mm movement, developed finished and assembled in the brand’s workshops. It incorporates a main plate and bridges, manufactured from German silver. Built on 21 jewels, the caliber runs at the rate of 18.000 vibrations per hour and supplies a 50-hour power reserve.
The movement breathes life into a set of functions, presented on an engine-turned silver dial. It is completed with gold applied numerals and gold hands. The central hands take care of hours and minutes, while a counter at 6 o’clock is responsible for small seconds.
The new Voutilainen watch is teamed with a hand-sewn alligator leather strap, finished with an 18-carat gold buckle.
