Franck Muller Presents Vintage Curvex 7-Days Power Reserve Watch

Dec 18, 2012
Franck Muller unveils its new Vintage Curvex 7-Days Power Reserve watch. The timepiece has debuted at the World Presentation of Haute Horlogerie & Jewellery in Monaco that started in October 2012.

The new Franck Muller watch, to join the brands famous Vintage collection, reveals pure, classic lines and perfectly balanced proportions. It has been entirely designed and manufactured in Geneva.

The heart of the timepiece is a mechanical with manual-winding movement - Caliber FM 1700 - characterized by high performance and exceptional finesse. The 213-part movement is operating at a frequency of 18000 vibrations per hour.

The unique hand-crafted mechanism demonstrates incomparable details. The bridges are fashioned to perfection, enhancing the nice harmony between the crisp corners and interlacing curves. The brass arches are decorated with Cotes-de-Geneve stripes and the bearings are embellished with 27 bright red rubies.

To guarantee a 7-day power reserve, the movement has incorporated an extra barrel. You will notice a tiny arch-shaped window at 11 oclock that features the amount of power left. The seconds sub-dial is found at 6 oclock.

The case of the Franck Muller Vintage Curvex 7-Days Power Reserve watch is sculptured in stainless steel or pink gold with either white or inked enamel. The case-back is brushed and the crystal glass allows to admire the exceptional beauty of the movement.
