Victorinox Swiss Army has released its new Airboss Automatic watch, to be officially unveiled at the forthcoming Baselworld 2011 trade show. The new Victorinox Swiss Army watch is delivered with a 42 mm round case, interpreted in stainless steel. It carries a bezel, produced from the same material. The water-resistance of the case is assured down to 100 meters.
The front part of the watch is assembled with a scratch-resistant, glare-proofed sapphire crystal. Its transparent back is covered by a mineral glass.
The latter permits a glance into the Swiss made self-winding ETA 2824-2 movement. Adorned with 25 jewels, it beats to the rhythm of 28,800 vibrations per hour and supplies a 40-hour power reserve.
Dressed in silver or charcoal grey, the dial of the new Victorinox Swiss Army Airboss Automatic watch sports a standard three-hand layout.
The diamond-shaped hour and minute hands are treated with luminous compound, which ensures a high level of visibility. The steel hands turn over applied Arabic numerals and a lume-covered triangle at 6 o’clock. Additionally, the display offers a current day indication in an aperture at 6 o’clock.
The new Victorinox Swiss Army pilot’s watch is teamed with a steel bracelet. It can be also accessorized with a brown leather strap.
