Victorinox Swiss Army Introduces Airboss Automatic Watch

Feb 28, 2011
Victorinox Swiss Army has released its new Airboss Automatic watch, to be officially unveiled at the forthcoming Baselworld 2011 trade show.

The new Victorinox Swiss Army watch is delivered with a 42 mm round case, interpreted in stainless steel. It carries a bezel, produced from the same material. The water-resistance of the case is assured down to 100 meters.

The front part of the watch is assembled with a scratch-resistant, glare-proofed sapphire crystal. Its transparent back is covered by a mineral glass.

The latter permits a glance into the Swiss made self-winding ETA 2824-2 movement. Adorned with 25 jewels, it beats to the rhythm of 28,800 vibrations per hour and supplies a 40-hour power reserve.

Dressed in silver or charcoal grey, the dial of the new Victorinox Swiss Army Airboss Automatic watch sports a standard three-hand layout.

The diamond-shaped hour and minute hands are treated with luminous compound, which ensures a high level of visibility. The steel hands turn over applied Arabic numerals and a lume-covered triangle at 6 oclock. Additionally, the display offers a current day indication in an aperture at 6 oclock.

The new Victorinox Swiss Army pilots watch is teamed with a steel bracelet. It can be also accessorized with a brown leather strap.
