The young watchmaker VicenTerra is about to launch a new GMT-3 watch, which demonstrates an equilibrium between charismatic design and flawless technical mastery.
This horological creation boasts an imposing case, decked out in polished steel 316/L. The interior and arcs of the new VicenTerra watch are satin-finished. The case is equipped with a crown, positioned at 3 o’clock. It is responsible for setting hours, minutes and date.
The crown is joined by a pusher at 4 o’clock, which is in charge of setting the Earth globe. Sculptured in steel, the three-dimensional Earth completes one revolution in 24 hours.
Revealed at 5 o’clock, it can be admired through several sapphire crystals, which cover the dial. Another pusher, which serves to adjust the GMT function, is featured at 8 o’clock. The water-resistance of the model is assured down to 50 meters.
Housed in the case of the new GMT-3 watch is a function-packed dial. It is completed with black-painted Roman numerals. Turning over them are transparent blue hands, which serve to indicate hours and minutes. They are joined by a slender seconds hand, clothed in black.
At 12 o’clock, the dial exposes a day/night disc. Within the period from 6 am to 6 pm it displays the rays of the sun. Later, they give way to the Moon and stars. The dual time zone is located at 7 o’clock. The watch face is visually balanced by a date indicator, presented at 2 o’clock. It is equipped with a retrograde hand.
The aforementioned functions are brought to life by a self-winding ETA 2892 movement. It incorporates a Rea GMT 3 extra module, developed by VicenTerra. Embellished with 21 rubies, the mechanism supplies a 42-hour power reserve.
The new VicenTerra watch is coupled with a leather or rubber strap. Performed in black or white, it joins to an expandable buckle.
