The young Italian watchmaker Vergo Avius is happy to bring out the new Leonardo limited edition watch, inspired by the world of motor sports. Its issue is restricted just to 99 pieces.

Distinguished by the unrivalled precision, the new Vergo Avius watch is delivered in a tonneau-shaped case. It is crafted from Grade-5 Class AA titanium and special lightweight alloy, used in Formula 1. The case boasts a black PVD-treated surface, a PVD gun metal surface treatment or a surface coating of PVD Chrome sky.

The model is shielded by a double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Its water-resistance is assured down to 100 meters.

The new Vergo Avius Leonardo limited edition watch features a dark grey dial, equipped with Arabic numerals and luminous perforated hands. It ensures central hours, minutes and seconds.

The display also comprises a retrograde date indicator at 3 o’clock. It is counterbalanced by a day of the week sub-dial at 9’ o clock. At 6 o’clock the user can see a dashboard-style power reserve indicator. The honey-comb “grille” pattern at 12 o’clock magnifies the model’s association with the world of racing cars.

Animating the functions is a Swiss made self-winding Soprod 9094 movement, based on ETA 2892-A2. It incorporates a branded winding rotor. Paved with 30 jewels, the caliber operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a 42-hour power reserve.

The mechanism utilizes a Nivaflex M spring with a Glucydur balance wheel. It is also endowed with an Incabloc shock protection system.

The new Vergo Avius watch is teamed with a grey thermoplastic elastomer strap, finalized by a double safety clasp in titanium.
