The new Vacheron Constantin watch employs a 42mm case, crafted from platinum 950. Its top is assembled with a high-grade sapphire crystal. The back side of the case is transparent. The water-resistance of the model is assured down to 3 bars.
The case is complimented by a sand-blasted platinum 950 dial. It sports a “PT 950” inscription between 4 and 5 o’clock. The dial also demonstrates a convex external zone with a circular grained minute-track.
Completed with applied hour-makers in 18K white gold, the face of the new Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Contemporaine Collection Excellence Platine watch indicates hours and minutes.
The display is controlled by the manufactory-made self-winding mechanical calibre 1120 movement, stamped with the Hallmark of Geneva. It is composed of 144 individual parts, including 36 jewels. The mechanism runs at the rate of 19,800 vibrations per hour and allows for a 40-hour power reserve.
The new Vacheron Constantin watch is attached to a dark blue Mississippiensis alligator leather strap, which is manually saddle-stitched with silk and 950 platinum threads. The strap joins to a platinum 950 buckle.
The model is issued in a limited edition of 150 individually numbered pieces.
