Vacheron Constantin Unveils Overseas Dual Time Watch in Steel and Titanium

In 2009, Vacheron Constantin unveiled its new Overseas watches crafted in stainless steel and titanium. This year, the Overseas collection welcomes a new interpretation of the Overseas Dual Time presented in this successful combination of materials.

The new Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time Steel and Titanium watch provides a range of useful functions - two time zones, a day/night indicator, a power reserve indicator, and a date function.

The stainless steel and titanium case of the watch measures 42mm in diameter. The case construction, impressing by its strength and lightness, provides reliable protection against magnetic fields and is 150-meter water-resistant. It demonstrates finely-grained brushed finishing and polished bevels. The zest of the case is the signature Maltese Cross bezel sculptured in titanium.

The case construction incorporates a screwed case-back embellished with an original sailboat medallion. Beneath the case-back there is a soft iron cap used for protecting the hairspring and other movement parts from magnetic fields.

The deep grey dial is a nice match to the tone of the case. Shielded by a flat sapphire crystal, it is characterized by perfect readability. At 12 o'clock, you will notice the renowned symbol of the Vacheron Constantin manufacture, also featured on the winding crown. The white gold hands and hour markers are provided with Superluminova coating for perfect night-time visibility.

The heart of the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time Steel and Titanium watch is the brand’s self-winding movement - VC Calibre 1222 SC. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, the movement gives an advantage of a 40-hour power reserve. The movement is decorated with a Cotes-de-Geneve pattern on the bridges, parts with beveled edges, and with circular graining on the mainplate.

The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time Steel and Titanium watch is presented on a refined crocodile leather strap or a sporty rubber strap fitted with a stainless steel triple-folding clasp. The straps can be easily interchanged.
