Issued in a limited edition of 80 pieces, the company’s brainchild is interpreted in a 42mm stainless steel. It carries a titanium bezel. The same material is employed in the manufacturing of push-piece screws.
The new Vacheron Constantin watch also features a solid case-back, fitted with “Overseas” medallion. The water-resistance of the model is assured down to 150 meters.
Hidden inside the case is a soft iron cage, which protects a self-winding mechanical 1136 QP caliber from magnetic fields. It comprises 228 individual parts, including 37 jewels. The mechanism beats to the rhythm of 21,600 vibrations per hour and supplies a 40-hour power.
The new Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph Perpetual Calendar Boutiques Exclusive watch comes equipped with a sunburst satin-brushed slate grey dial. It is completed with 12 applied 18-carat gold hour-markers, inlaid with white luminous compound.
The display ensures central hours and minutes. The small seconds, featured at 6 o’clock, are allied with a moon-phase indicator. The chronograph mechanism, equipped with a column wheel, is presented through 12-hour and 30-minute counters as well as a central seconds hand. The dial also offers a perpetual calendar, which includes day of the week and date indications, a 48-month counter and a leap year.
The new Vacheron Constantin watch is accompanied by a black vulcanized rubber strap. Alternatively, it can be mounted on a dark grey hand-sewn saddle-stitched Mississippiensis alligator leather strap. Both versions terminate in a triple-blade double-safety folding clasp with stainless steel pushers.
