The new Vacheron Constantin watch is available with 43mm case, rendered in 18K 5N pink gold. It is armed with a top convex sapphire crystal, glare-proofed on one side.
The back part of the watch features a power reserve indicator. It reveals a small plaque, marked with the intertwined constellations of Ursa Major and Ursa Minor. Here also sits an inscription “Les Cabinotiers” and the Atelier Cabinotiers coat of arms, which testify to the exceptional origin of the model.
Ticking inside the new Vacheron Constantin Atelier Cabinotiers Philosophia watch is a hand-wound mechanical 2755 caliber movement, stamped with the Hallmark of Geneva. It is composed of 522 components, including 40 jewels. The mechanism - 33.30 mm x 7.65mm - operates at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour and supplies a power reserve of about 58 hours.
The caliber breathes life into a set of useful functions, exhibited on a silvered opaline dial. It is equipped with a black painted minute-track and 11 Arabic numerals. The 24-hour display is fitted with only an hour hand. In charge of the minutes, quarter of the hours as well as the exact hour is a minute-repeater device.
The moon-phase display, made of 18K 5N pink gold, is found at 9 o’clock. The moon is presented with its craters and the Pole Star shining near it. A special eye-catcher of the display is a tourbillon mechanism, revealed in the opening at 6 o’clock. It rotates every 60 seconds.
The new Vacheron Constantin watch is teamed with a brown saddle-finished alligator leather strap. Stitched by hand, it joins to a buckle in 18K 5N pink gold.
