The main assets of the new Ulysse Nardin watch lie in its carousel tourbillon and flying tourbillon. The first serves as an hour and minute indicator, making a complete rotation within a period of an hour. The flying tourbillon, equipped with an arrow, is responsible for the seconds. Additionally, the open-worked dark-toned dial is fitted with a power reserve display.
Animating the functions of the new Ulysse Nardin Freak Diavolo watch is a hand-wound movement, enriched with a flying tourbillon mechanism. It incorporates a silicium balance spring and an escapement. The caliber runs at the rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour and supplies an 8-day power reserve.
The movement finds its natural home in a 44.5 mm case, rendered in 18K white gold. It carries a bidirectional rotating bezel, intended for setting the time. The bezel on the back of the case is meant for winding the movement. The water-resistance of the model is assured down to 30 meters.
The new Ulysse Nardin watch is coupled with a black crocodile leather strap, enhanced with a folding clasp.
