The new Breguet watch stands out due to its chronograph minutes counter that is found in the centre instead of the common seconds counter.
The heart of the watch is a self-winding chronograph movement equipped with a flyback function that implies that you can reset to zero the chronograph counter and restart it instantly with a single operation. Besides the flyback chronograph, the movement animates a date, a 24-hour indicator and a small seconds hand. The 25-jewel movement gives an advantage of a 45-hour power reserve.
The new Type XXI watch demonstrates a grade 2 titanium case, 42 mm in diameter. It incorporates a black lacquered unidirectional rotating bezel completed with numerals in relief, as well as a fluted case-band and rounded lugs. Fitted with a screw-locked crown, the case is 100-meter water-resistant.
The matt black dial offers great readability even under reduced light conditions due to its luminescent hands and hour-markers. The 24-hour indicator is positioned at 3 o’clock, the 12-hour counter and the date are found at 6 o’clock, and the small seconds are at 9 o’clock.
The new Breguet Type XXI watch is secured to the wrist on a calfskin leather strap or a titanium bracelet.
