Meet Tudor Heritage Chrono Watch
At Baselworld 2010, Tudor has unveiled its new Heritage Chrono watch to join the Tudor Sport collection. The timepiece is a reinterpretation of the brand’s famous Oysterdate Chronograph born in the early 1970s.

Introducing modern design codes that confirm everything is better the second time around, all the lines of this storied timepiece have been mindfully reformulated to echo, with a contemporary spin, the exquisite contours of the coveted chronograph and of the racing cars at the historic, technical and aesthetic heart of its creation.

The new Tudor Heritage Chrono watch celebrates the historic relationship between Tudor and Porsche and the values they share. In particular, it pays tribute to the powerful Tudor-Porsche Motorsport partnership born in 2009 – the watchmaking company became “Timing Partner” during the Porsche international one-make cups. read more

Tudor Unveils Hydronaut II Chronograph
The famous watch manufacturer Rolex is also an owner of another watch-making firm Tudor. Until recent time, Tudor has stayed in the background. Within the last couple of years, however, the company asserted itself by manufacturing new products and running a powerful advertising campaign.

This watchmaker’s creations are mostly characterized by sporty style. Unveiled at Baselworld 2009, the Tudor Hydronaut II watch is currently the best model across the spectrum of the brand’s sportive watches.

The Hydronaut II watch demonstrates a 41 mm steel case, which size coincides with that of a Rolex counterpart. Its design, however, is totally different from that of Rolex watches. It is explainable by the fact that Tudor’s products are aimed at the consumers, who lead a sportier lifestyle.

This timepiece accommodates an automatic mechanical chronograph movement. Additionally, it provides 200-meter water-resistance. This very feature makes the watch extremely reliable. It is not intended though for professional divers.

Assembled with a sapphire crystal, the fully polished watch case is fitted with a black, red and white unidirectional bezel. The dial, performed in black, is accented with touches of silver, red and white. The counters, located at 3 and 6 o'clock, serve to indicate chronograph minutes and hours. The counter at 9 o'clock position shows small seconds – the central hand reveals chronograph seconds.

The adjustment of the date, which is indicated at 4 o'clock, is accomplished by the crown, placed at 10 o'clock. The crown at 3 o’clock corrects timekeeping. The chronograph start, stop and reset pushers are located at 2 and 4 o'clock.

Both pushers and crowns are screw-down to ensure the necessary level of water-resistance.

The model is secured to the wrist on a black rubber strap, finished with a folding Tudor clasp.
