Dussert Unveils Tri Zone DW400 Watch

Dec 29, 2010
On the occasion of its 5th birthday, the Swiss horological company Dussert has released a new Tri Zone watch - reference DW400.

Offered in a limited edition of 777 pieces, the new Dussert watch provides a three time zone function. These time zones are found on a carbon dial. The model is also available in black and white as well as blue and yellow dial executions. The main display is located in the right part of the watch face. Its left section, meanwhile, exposes two other counters.

The displays capture the time with white-painted hands, which point to hours, minutes and seconds. They circulate serenely over Arabic numerals, also dressed in white. Within the larger display they are supported by a white minute track. Within the smaller counters, the numbers alternate with stick-shaped hour-markers.

The main display of the new Tri Zone DW400 watch permits a glance into an automatic movement. In fact, the model accommodates two reliable mechanisms: automatic Soprod A10BV and ETA E01.701 quartz.

The calibers seat inside a stainless steel 316L case. It is equipped with a winding crown, located at 3 oclock. The crown is joined by pushers, featured on the opposite side of the watch body. On its front side the case is assembled with a bombed sapphire crystal. Its back side is fitted with a glass. The water-resistance of the case is assured down to 3 atm.

A union of high quality and affordable price, the new Dussert watch is teamed with a black alligator leather strap, decorated with white stitching.
