Graham has created a new timepiece to commemorate the Graham-London and BrawnGP team commitment. The new Graham Tourbillograph Trackmaster is best described as a sophisticated, innovative, absolutely reliable and powerful timekeeping instrument.
The high-tech design and mechanics of the watch reflect the Graham-London British heritage. The timepiece is available in two color combinations inspired by the BrawnGP racing colors - in Black and White or Black and Yellow. The timepiece will be limited to 100 pieces for every color combination.
The Tourbillograph, the brand’s “high adrenaline” watch, represents an exceptional time instrument paying tribute to BrawnGP’s high performance. The timepiece is based on a new concept of Tourbillon, a new technology, two novel patents, an innovative manufacturing process that were born due to four years of painstaking efforts.
The Graham Tourbillograph Trackmaster watch boasts a unique see-through construction offering a fascinating view of the sophisticated mechanism of the Tourbillon “machine”.
The off-centre construction of the Tourbillon is characterized by a remarkably light weight, reliability and shock-resistance. The weight of the cage is just 0.485 grams. It is built from 48 pieces. The superb precision is enhanced by the one-of-a-kind “Coq” and upper bridge construction shaped in the tradition of English high-precision watches that make one think of the 18th century.
The brand’s watchmakers opted for a double bridge construction on both front and back sides, as it is more reliable, so that the Tourbillon is found in a firm environment.
The watch accommodates an automatic bi-compax chronograph Tourbillon movement - the Calibre G1781. The movement is built from 403 components. It provides a 45-hour power reserve. The movement has a balance wheel beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. It gives an advantage of an easier adjustment and a more accurate running.
The movement also boasts exclusive decoration , including a black chromium-plated oscillating weight, rhodium-plated bridges and plates, a silver counterpoise secured by 4 screws, sunburst-pattern chronographs bridges, circular-grained bridges and plates, as well as polished-chamfered brass and steel components.
One more peculiarity is the re-inforced Incabloc anti-shock system, comprising a spiral, balance, escapement wheels and anchor. It provides a supreme shock-resistance that is of great importance to a sport Tourbillon with a chronograph function.
The case of the Graham watch is crafted in stainless steel and measures 47 mm in diameter. It incorporates a “clous de paris” bezel and a flat sapphire crystal case-back. The case construction is 100-meter water-resistant.
The black galvanic dial, accentuated by the official colors of “BrawnGP” Formula One Team, is completed with white or yellow luminescent numerals. The 12-hour counter is located at 6 o’clock and the 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock. The time is indicated by luminescent hour and minute hands. The chronograph seconds hand and the counters’ hands are created in red. The dial is shielded by a domed sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating on the both sides.
The case of the Graham Tourbillograph Trackmaster watch is coupled with an integrated black rubber strap featuring a white or yellow line and a stainless steel buckle.
