Tissot T-Race MotoGP Limited Edition 2011 Watch - Encouraged by Autosport

Oct 25, 2011
Tissot is pleased to offer its new T-Race MotoGP Limited Edition 2011 watch, inspired by the World Championship MotoGP.

A clever blend of Swiss technology and autosport-encouraged aesthetics, the new Tissot watch is executed in a 316L stainless steel case with black PVD-treated surface. Its top is protected by an anti-scratch sapphire crystal with a magnifying lens over the date exhibition window. The glass is held in place by a rotating bezel, influenced by a brake disc of a motorcycle. The bezel offers the World Time function.

The bottom of the model is marked with the MotoGP logo and an engraved inscription, which proudly reads that Tissot is an official chronograph watch of the World Championship. The water-resistance of the case is assured down to 10 atm.

The new Tissot T-Race MotoGP Limited Edition 2011 watch boasts a carbon fiber dial with white and orange nuances. It displays central hours and minutes. The small seconds are shown at 9 oclock.

The chronograph functionality is assured through a 30-minute counter at 12 oclock, a 1/10 of a second sub-dial at 6 oclock and a central seconds hand. The date indication is arranged at 3 oclock. The range of the practical functions is completed by a tachymeter scale, presented on the flange. Animating the functions is a Swiss made quartz movement.

The new Tissot watch is mounted on an orange silicone strap, engraved with the MotoGP logo. It joins to a folding buckle with a push-button. The model is offered in a limited edition of 8888 pieces and is delivered in a colorful checkered flag pattern box.
