Designed around the diving theme, the new Tissot watch employs a 316L stainless steel case with black or blue PVD treatment. Its top is covered by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, held in place by a unidirectional bezel. At 3 o’clock, the case sports a screw-down crown. The model boasts 300-meter water-resistance.
Integrated into the case is a helium escape valve. It allows helium to escape the timekeeper’s body during the decompression procedure, without the sapphire crystal popping out of the case.
The new Tissot Seastar 1000 Blue watch strikes the eye with its blue dial. It demonstrates a standard three-hand layout, complimented by a date indication at 3 o’clock. The hour-markers and hands are filled with Superluminova, which provides a perfect level of visibility in underwater conditions. Animating the functions is a Swiss made automatic movement.
The new Tissot diving watch is attached to a rubber strap, terminating in a standard buckle. The model can also be accompanied by a 316L solid stainless steel bracelet with a safety clasp and a diver extension.
