Meet New Timex T Series Racing Watches

Jun 10, 2010
At Baselworld 2010, the famous watchmaker Timex introduced two new models within its Timex T Series racing collection.

Issued in 2007, this line has been remarkably well received by watch enthusiasts and collectors. It exerts an irresistible attraction on those, who appreciate audacious styling and ultra-precise timekeeping. These features, which ensured the sweeping success of the Timex series, are also inherent to the new Timex watches.

In 2010, the new members to the Timex T Series Racing Chronograph collection use a new palette of colors, which accentuates the power and structure of their design.

The first variation of the Timex watch is performed in stark black and adorned with an all black dial. Boasting crisp white accents, the display reveals three chronograph counters, calculating down to 1/20th of a second, and a red emblematic T sweep seconds hand.

The second interpretation shows off a silver sunray textured dial, exposing contrasting gold-tone accents. Encouraged by the car racing and the accuracy of automotive engineering, the rugged texture of this watchs genuine leather strap is graced with a subtle geometric stamped pattern.

This timekeeper is proposed in a 38mm case, crafted from stainless steel. Its bold styling is further enhanced by the smooth shape of two pushers, nestled at 2 and 4 o clock, as well as by the daring grid-patterned crown.

Each of the new Timex T Series Racing watches is equipped with a framed date aperture, located at four oclock. Both models are submersible to 100 meters.
