The new Montblanc watch presents its functions in an unconventional way: both the elapsed-seconds hand and the hand for sixty elapsed minutes are positioned in the center. This arrangement results in the legibility of elapsed-time measurements. Moreover, it frees enough space for a sub-dial with a 24-hour scale for the time in a second time-zone. The small seconds sub-dial is found at 6 o’clock and the date window at 3 o’clock.

The home time remains unchanged when you start on a journey, while the major display is set to indicate the new local time. You simply have to withdraw the crown to its first extracted position, and then the hour-hand on the main dial in one-hour increments. It is important to mention that the minute hand needs no resetting - it continuously runs unaffected by setting the hour-hand.
The new Montblanc chronograph is powered by a mechanical automatic-winding movement -Manufacture Calibre MB LL100. The 36-jewel movement, with a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, with a double barrel, gives an advantage of a 72-hour power-reserve. It also has the following peculiarities: column-wheel control and disc coupling for the chronograph, a flyback function, a wheel train with special toothing for more efficient power transmission
The case, 43mm in diameter, is rendered in stainless steel. The legible face of the watch is framed by a narrow bezel. It is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating. The timepiece is 30-meter water-resistant.
The new Montblanc TimeWalker TwinFly Chronograph watch is presented on a brown alligator-leather strap or a linked stainless steel bracelet. It will be available in September 2013.
