The heart of the new Louis Moinet watch is a hand-wound exclusive tourbillon movement. The 19-jewel movement, operating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, offers a 72-hour power reserve. The movement incorporates a lateral lever escapement, as well as the winding mechanism with “octopus” spring that can be seen via the sapphire crystal case back.
The case of the Jurassic Tourbillon watch is rendered in 18K white gold. It is built from 50 elements and measures 47 mm in diameter. The bezel and horns sparkle with 56 Top Wesselton VVS baguette diamonds, with a total weight of 3.46 carats. The face of the watch is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The timepiece is 30-meter water-resistant.
