Temption CGK205 Chronograph Watch - Outstanding Readability

Jul 29, 2011
The house of Temption takes the wraps off its new CGK205 chronograph mens watch, characterized by outstanding readability.

The new Temption watch comes fitted with a 43mm case, crafted from satinized 316 L stainless steel. Its top is covered by a curved sapphire crystal. It is held in place by a bezel, marked with a tachymeter scale. The sapphire glass is also used for the case-back.

The model is also equipped with a screw-on crown with an integrated onyx. The winding crown is joined by 3 screw-on pushers - the pusher at 11 oclock serves to rapidly change the day indication. The water-resistance of the case is assured down to 100 meters.

The new Temption CGK205 chronograph watch is constructed around a T18.1 movement, based on Valjoux 7751. Paved with 25 jewels, it runs at the rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour and supplies a 42-hour power reserve. The movement is also endowed with the Incabloc shock protection system.

The caliber animates central hours and minutes. Set within the perfectly balanced display are also a synchronized 24-hour indicator at 9 oclock, a 30-minute counter at 12 oclock and a 12-hour sub-dial at 6 oclock.

The 30-minute totalizer hosts two exhibition windows for day and month indications. The 12-hour counter, meanwhile, is allied with a moon-phase indicator. The chronograph function is also ensured through a central seconds hand. The date is read off from the fourth hand and Arabic numerals, arrayed on the extremity of the dial.

The final touch is provided by a fully integrated stainless steel bracelet with a single wing security clasp. Alternatively, the new Temption watch can be mounted on a leather or rubber strap.
