TAG Heuer Marks 150th Anniversary with New Silverstone Chronograph
To mark the brand’s 150th anniversary in 2010, TAG Heuer will introduce the anniversary re-edition of its Silverstone Chronograph that highlights the list of the most coveted collector's TAG Heuer watches.

The initial Silverstone chronograph joined the world of watchmaking in 1974. The timepiece immediately caught attention by its cushion cut-shaped case. The shape of the case reflects a nice blend of square and round inspired by the curvature of the Silverstone Circuit, a renowned English racing track that suggested the name of the watch.

The design of the TAG Heuer chronograph watch was also based on the distinctive square case of the preceding model - the Monaco. Before the introduction of the Monaco, watchmakers could not develop perfectly water-resistant square or barrel-shaped cases and introduced only timepieces with round dials. read more


New Link Lady Watch Created by TAG Heuer
The TAG Heuer Link collection is joined by a new beautiful timepiece created for ladies – the Link Lady watch.

The slender 29-mm-in-diameter case of the new TAG Heuer watch demonstrates a pebble shape. It is crafted in stainless steel and is polished. Female creatures in love with luxury will surely appreciate the bezel sparkling with 47 diamonds (each precious stone measures 1.4 mm, the total weight is 0.52 carat).

The silvered dial is embellished with a concentric wave-pattern guilloche. The hour-markers are substituted by 11 diamonds. The time is shown by polished hour and minute hands provided with Superluminova coating for perfect visibility under reduced light conditions. The date window is positioned at 6 o'clock.

TAG Heuer Grand Carrera to Celebrate Singapore Grand Prix Race
TAG Heuer, the name associated with the brightest stars in Formula One racing - Kimi Raikkonen, Lewis Hamilton and Sebastien Bourdais, will celebrate the Singapore Grand Prix race, the first Formula One night race in the world, by the launch of a special, limited edition of the Grand Carrera Calibre 8 Grande-Date GMT watch.

The special edition Grand Carrera reveals the black-finished case, bezel, dial and indexes. The face of the watch is completed with distinctive green accents. The TAG Heuer watch will be distributed in a limited edition of only 150 pieces by the brand's authorized retailers and boutiques in Singapore.

To draw attention to the commemorative nature of the Grand Carrera Calibre 8 Grande-Date GMT watch , each TAG Heuer watch will be accompanied by a limited-edition book, entitled "Snakes and Devils", by the author Eli Solomon.

According to Jean-Christophe Babin, TAG Heuer President and CEO, the launch of the special edition Grand Carrera marks an important milestone in racing history - the very first night race in Singapore.

Singapore represents one of the most important markets of the brand proud of its close association with the world of motor racing and Formula 1.

The retail price of the TAG Heuer watch will be 8,300 Singapore dollars.

TAG Heuer Unveils Monaco V4 Next Generation Rose Gold Ruthenium and Ceramic Watch
Celebrating its 150th anniversary, TAG Heuer is pleased to unveil its new Monaco V4 Next Generation Rose Gold Ruthenium and Ceramic watch. TAG Heuer Creates Silverstone Calibre 11 Chronograph in Red
TAG Heuer, celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, has created a unique one-off watch – the red Silverstone Calibre 11 Chronograph. The timepiece will be auctioned for charity by UK auctioneers Bonhams on 15th December. It is expected to fetch from 9,000 to 12,000 US dollars.

The special edition chronograph model is based on the re-edition Silverstone already introduced by the brand this year.

The initial Silverstone watch joined the world of watchmaking in 1974. It was the choice of Clay Regazzoni, the leading 1970’s Swiss Formula One driver. Lewis Hamilton and Ken Okuyama at Exclusive TAG Heuer Event
On October 7th, 2008, TAG Heuer held an exclusive event, having invited to the same stage two bright personalities - Lewis Hamilton, charismatic British Formula One racing driver and TAG Heuer ambassador since 2003, and Ken Okuyama, the famous Japanese super car's designer. The event took place in Conrad Hotel, Tokyo.

During the press event, Ken Okuyama announced the launch of a new 24 TAG Heuer K.O 7 GT cars, to be developed in limited edition. The exclusive twin-seat roadsters represent the direct offspring of the revolutionary Concept car unveiled by the designer at Baselworld 2008.

The designer highlighted GT sports car history by creating an automobile dashboard inspired by a watch collection, the TAG Heuer Grand Carrera.

Out of 99 K.O 7 cars to be manufactured, 24 cars are to be fitted with two timepieces of the brand - a men’s watch, the Grand CARRERA Calibre 17 RS2 Chronograph Ti2, as well as its variation for ladies, the Grand CARRERA Calibre 6 RS Diamond Bezel.

The Grand CARRERA watch pair is aimed exclusively owners of the limited production K.O 7 TAG Heuer sports cars. The timepieces feature the official K.O 7 logo and serial numbers stamped on their case-backs.

By his participation in the TAG Heuer event, Lewis Hamilton wanted to strengthen the links between the worlds of GT and Formula One. The brand’s ambassador was glad to answer journalists’ questions about the end of the F1 season, believed to be closely contested and intense.
