Following the amazing success of the TAG Heuer Grand CARRERA Calibre 36 RS Caliper Concept Chronograph unveiled at Baselworld 2008, this year TAG Heuer has created its worthy successor with a bold case crafted in titanium - the Grand CARRERA Calibre 36 RS2 Caliper Chronograph Ti2. The ultra high-tech timepiece was presented at Baselworld 2009.

The new watch is animated by the TAG Heuer Calibre 36 RS automatic movement. The COSC-chronometer-certified movement incorporates two Rotating Systems that indicate the chronograph minutes at 3 o’clock and chronograph hours at 6.

The iconic TAG Heuer Carrera line has recently been joined by a new timepiece - the Calibre 16 Day-Date chronograph. The watch has been created with a range of dial colors. It is secured to the wrist with either a strap or a bracelet. The precision timekeeping is guaranteed by the TAG Heuer Calibre 16 automatic movement.

The case, measuring 43 mm in diameter, is crafted from polished steel. The domed sapphire crystal is provided with a double antireflective treatment. The case construction incorporates a sapphire crystal case-back. It is 100-meter water-resistant.

The bezel of the watch features a tachymeter scale. The black dial is framed by a black aluminum bezel, the brown dial by a brown aluminum bezel, and the silver dial by a polished steel bezel.

The dial is completed with 3 sub-dials: the chronograph hour sub-dial is positioned at 6 o'clock, the running second sub-dial a 9 o'clock and the chronograph minute at 12 o'clock.

The perfect night time visibility is provided due to the polished hands and luminescent hour markers. You will notice a large day-date window at 3 o'clock.

TAG Heuer and Parsons The New School for Design have finally announced the winners of the Art of Watchmaking. The competition lasted 10 weeks. The Parson students were divided into eight teams and were given the task to reinterpret the TAG Heuer iconic Monaco chronograph.

All members of the three winning teams will be awarded with a monetary prize and a TAG Heuer watch. TAG Heuer also intends to produce one of the first-place Monaco watch designs in a limited edition.

Each team presented three concepts, and explained their inspiration, target consumer and philosophy behind the watch design. The students felt really enthusiastic about the competition and came up with highly original concepts, including a Monaco watch featuring a rotating case and even the design suggested by the New York City transportation system.

Good news for TAG Heuer watch lovers! This September, the brand introduces a new Carrera Calibre 5 watch to be available in two variations - with a black or brown dial.

The dial of the new Carrera watch catches attention by its Clous De Paris pattern and alphabetical time scale flange. The dial offers great readability even under reduced light conditions, as it is completed with hand-applied indexes and polished baton hands coated with luminescent substance.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing," the brand has proudly announced its status as official timepiece of the Indy 500 and released the new Limited Edition Indy 500 Centennial Chronograph watch. It will be awarded to the winner of the event on Sunday, May 29, 2011.

Offered in a limited series of 1000 pieces, the new Tag Heuer watch is set in a 44mm fine-brushed steel case.

It demonstrates a fixed polished bezel with a tachymeter scale in black and an inscription "Indy 500" in red. The case is armed with a scratch resistant top sapphire crystal. Its back side marks the 100-year anniversary of the great race. The water-resistance of the case is assured down to 200 meters.

The model reveals a grey stylized dial. It is adorned with a pattern, borrowed from the renowned "Yard of Bricks" start/finish line of the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Encouraged by a racing car's dashboard, the dial of the new Tag Heuer Limited Edition Indy 500 Centennial Chronograph watch is equipped with hand-applied indexes and luminous hands.

The new Carrera Mikrograph limited edition automatic chronograph watch by the Swiss horological company Tag Heuer will officially debut in the course of the SIHH 2011 trade show, opened today, on January 17, 2011.

Issued in limited series of just 150 individually numbered pieces, the new Tag Heuer watch is set in an attractive rose gold case. The same material is employed in the manufacturing if the round-shaped bezel. It cohabits harmoniously with impressive lugs, which unite the case and the dark-brown leather strap.

At 3 o’clock, the case reveals a massive winding crown. Easy to operate, it is joined by two neat chronograph buttons. The push-pieces are placed at 2 and 4 o’clock. The body of the timepiece also features a top and bottom sapphire crystals.

The new Tag Heuer watch employs a 44mm stainless steel case, round in shape. It is outlined by a bezel, produced from the same material. The bezel reveals 12 notches with an additional minute graduation. Covering the top of the model is a high-grade sapphire crystal. It back side is solid. The case is built to be 200-meter water-resistant.

At Baselworld 2011, TAG Heuer has proudly unveiled another horological feat - the Mikrotimer Flying 1000 Concept Chronograph watch. This new in-house concept time machine boasts 1/1000th accuracy. The remarkable TAG Heuer novelty follows the steps of the TAG Heuer Mikrograph watch introduced in January as the first mechanical chronograph that provides 1/100th accuracy.

The TAG Heuer Mikrotimer amazes by its speed and high-frequency - 500hz beating at 3.6 million beats per hour, implying it is 10 times faster in comparison with the Mikrograph and 100 times faster than the El Primero.

The new TAG Heuer watch demonstrates an ultra-modern design. It offers an innovative case system, with the case design and the movement being covered by 12 patents. The 45mm case is rendered in black titanium carbide, while the titanium horns are presented in contrasting silver.
