TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster Arrives to Dehli

On the occasion of its 150th birthday, TAG Heuer and electric carmaker Tesla Motors have joined their forces to manufacture the TAG Heuer 100% electric Tesla Roadster. In the course of its global adventure, with China as the final destination, the unique GT car visits 15 cities, with the famous city of Rajastan among them.

The arrival of the TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster to the capital city of New Dehli was welcomed by a multitude of people, including the Indian Ambassadors for the brand: the accomplished actor Shah Rukh Khan and the F1 driver Karun Chandhok. They introduced this impressive novelty to the public and were awaited by Jean-Christophe Babin, TAG Heuer’s President & CEO, Manishi Sanwal, General Manager, LVMH Watch & Jewellery India Pvt Ltd, and Patrick Pruniaux, TAG Heuer VP Sales.

The Brand’s Ambassador for the past 7 years, Shah Rukh Khan completely shares the values cherished by TAG Heuer. An ardent enthusiast of spectacular mechanics, this famous actor has stated that he is honored to be a part of TAG Heuer’s 150th anniversary. Moreover, he is extremely thrilled to have a chance to greet the TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster in India.

This festivity also saw the premiere of the TAG Heuer Meridiist GMT, the communication instrument intentionally created to accompany the meridian-crossing world tour of TAG Heuer and Tesla Motors.

Besides, the audience will be offered a great chance to admire the Pendulum novelty unveiled at Baselworld 2010. They will also enjoy sixteen historical iconic timepieces, as well as three watches, exhibited as a subtle hint to TAG Heuer’s future.
