Tag Heuer Delivers Monza Chronograph Watch

Apr 22, 2011
At Baselworld 2011, the timepiece maker Tag Heuer unveiled its new Monza Chronograph watch, which brings together the brand’s golden age and the design of the 1970s.

Offered in a limited edition of 1911 pieces, the new Tag Heuer watch is set in a 38 mm case. It is rendered in polished and fine-brushed stainless steel.

At 3 o’clock, the case features a polished vintage winding crown. The front side of the model is covered by a curved scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It is coated with internal and external glare-proofed treatment, which ensures a perfect level of readability. The same glass is used for the screwed case-back. The model is built to be 100-meter water-resistant.

The new Tag Heuer Monza Chronograph watch is complimented by a white dial. It is equipped with yellow luminescent Arabic numerals. The blue hour and minute hands are fitted with luminous markers.

The small seconds sub-dial is featured at 9 o’clock. It is counterbalanced by a chronograph minute counter at 3 o’clock. The chronograph function is also presented through a central seconds hand. The date is shown in the exhibition window at 4.30. Animating the functions is the Tag Heuer calibre 36 movement.

The new Tag Heuer watch is accompanied by a brown leather strap with the brand’s logo on the inner side. It terminates in a folding buckle with Tag Heuer logo and safety push-buttons.
