Combining high-tech innovations and an imposing design in perfect proportions, the new Tag Heuer watch is interpreted in a 41mm case. It is sculptured in polished titanium and incorporates fine-brushed silicon nitride “ceramic” inserts. On the front side, the case sports a beveled sapphire crystal glass with double-sided glare-proofed coating, which assures a perfect level of readability.
The massive crown at 3 o’clock is made of titanium. The model is also equipped with a 3-section sapphire crystal back part. The case provides 50-meter water-resistance.
The new Tag Heuer Monaco V4 Titanium Ruthenium and Ceramic watch is complimented by an impressive dial. It is completed with faceted applied indexes and rhodium-plated titanium minute and hour hands, treated with white luminescent markers. Taking care of small seconds is a faceted rhodium-plated titanium hand at 4 o’clock.
The display also reveals 7 fine-brushed bridges, treated with black ruthenium and graced with Cotes de Geneve and “haute horlogerie” hand-crafted finishes. The escapement and belt-driven transmission can be also admired from the front. The white “V4” engraving is featured at 4 o’clock, while the brand’s logo, done in the same color, sits at 10 o’clock.
The timekeeper is constructed around an automatic movement with the first patented belt-driven transmission. Characterized by avant-garde architecture, it incorporates a tungsten ingot linear mass as well as two pairs of barrels in series, set in parallel and linked by belts. Integrated within the movement is also a back plate, treated with highly-resistant ruthenium treatment.
The new Tag Heuer watch is attached to a hand-sewn anthracite alligator leather strap, finished with a titanium folding buckle. The latter is fitted with safety push-buttons and marked with V4 engraving. The model is offered in alimited edition of 200 pieces.
