Issued in limited series of just 150 individually numbered pieces, the new Tag Heuer watch is set in an attractive rose gold case. The same material is employed in the manufacturing if the round-shaped bezel. It cohabits harmoniously with impressive lugs, which unite the case and the dark-brown leather strap.
At 3 o’clock, the case reveals a massive winding crown. Easy to operate, it is joined by two neat chronograph buttons. The push-pieces are placed at 2 and 4 o’clock. The body of the timepiece also features a top and bottom sapphire crystals.
The front sapphire glass serves to cover a perfectly balanced dial, clothed in chocolate brown and white. It ensures central hours and minutes, indicated by means of gold hands.
The eye-catcher of the display is surely a chronograph seconds hand, dressed in blue. It is equipped with its own chapter ring. The periphery of the watch face exposes black-painted Arabic numerals.
Set within a dial of the new Carrera Mikrograph limited edition automatic chronograph watch are also chronograph counters, arranged at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. Additionally, the model provides a function of /100th second Mikrograph chronograph.
The timepiece is powered by the brand’s proprietary automatic movement, officially certified as a chronometer by the COSC. It incorporates two independent balance wheels with separate transmissions and escapements.
The first element is moving back and forth at the rate of 28,800 vibrations per hours and is used for counting hours and minutes. The second balance wheel, meanwhile, beats to the rhythm of 360,000 vibrations per hour and animates the 1/100th second chronograph sub-system.
The new Tag Heuer watch targets individuals, who appreciate supreme elegance, backed by technical advances.
