Following the amazing success of the Supermarine 500, Bremont is pleased to unveil its Limited Edition Supermarine Descent watch. This is a Swiss-Made all-black DLC-coated marine timepiece born at the Bremont atelier in Biel-Bienne, Switzerland.
The watch has been inspired by the legendary British aircraft manufacturer that gave birth to the Supermarine S6B Schneider Trophy Seaplane and the famous Supermarine Spitfire. It will be issued in a limited edition of 407 pieces, the number reflecting the top speed achieved by George Stainforth in 1931 in the S6B.
The 42mm case of the new Bremont watch demonstrates the classic curved profile. The brandís one-of-a-kind Trip-Tick three-piece case construction guarantees remarkable water-resistance Ė down to 500 meters.
Your glance will be caught by an elegant crown protector built onto the side of the inner barrel along with an automatic helium escape valve. The same as other Bremont watches, the case of the Supermarine Descent has been specially treated to acquire extra strength with help of the brandís B-EBE2000 technology.
The bezel of the watch is crafted from sapphire covering the Superluminova C5 numerals. Along with the sapphire crystal shielding the dial, it is coated on both sides with the brandís signature 9-layer anti reflective coating.
The Bremont Limited Edition Supermarine Descent watch is animated by a modified BE-36A automatic chronometer movement. The movement is provided with anti-shock protection. It is also important to mention that the mechanism is located inside an Anti-Magnetic faraday cage to provide the proper protection to the balance, balance spring and escapement.
Bremont is a British company founded by brothers Nick and Giles English in 2002. The brand produces top-quality and high-aesthetic-value aviation-inspired timepieces.
