The new Bell & Ross watch is absolutely exceptional as it can be easily integrated into the dashboard instrumentation of the Peugeot SR1 car.
The Bell & Ross SR1 Concept Watch employs a case, rendered in stainless steel and measuring 46mm in diameter. The case is fitted with a screw-down knurled crown. As to the fundamental dimensions and finishing of the case, the watch follows the steps of the brand's famous BR 01-97 Power Reserve.
A distinctive flair of this novelty is represented by the three-dimensional dial, which reveals a texture, reminiscent of the crystalline patterns of a snowflake. For the complex patterns to appear on the metal surface of the watch face, Bell & Ross utilized the most advanced machining operations.
The special eye-catchers of the dial are four oversized Arabic numerals in relief, an engraved scale, which serves to indicate the power reserve and its small white hand, positioned between 6 and 8 o'clock. Sweeping smoothly over the numerals and hour-markers are audaciously faceted hour and minute hands, sculptured in nickel-plated steel. In perfect harmony with the dial design, they produce an incredible technical effect.
An exclusive creation of the house, the Peugeot SR1 Concept watch is not slated to be manufactured in series. Inside the new Bell & Ross watch is an ETA 2897 self-winding movement, which brings to life the functions of a rapid advance date display, central seconds with a hacking function, as well as a power reserve indication.
This extraordinary timekeeper provides 100-meter water-resistance. It is presented on a smoothly grained leather strap of a nice pale cream shade, manufactured from the same material as the upholstery of the Peugeot Concept Car. The strap is finished with a Bell & Ross tang buckle, crafted from brushed stainless steel.
