Welcome Omega Speedmaster Racing Watch

The first Omega Speedmaster watch was born in 1957. The model enjoyed remarkable success among motorsport and rally drivers who appreciated its chronograph performance and powerful design appeal. It is also worth mentioning that the dial design of the watch was suggested by the dashboards of Italian automobiles of that time. The Omega Speedmaster was destined to become the first chronograph with the tachymeter scale moved from the dial to the bezel.

This year, Omega is pleased to introduce its new Speedmaster Racing chronograph watch that pays tribute to Speedmaster’s popularity among those who belong to the world of motor-racing.

The 40mm case of the new Omega watch is sculptured from stainless steel. The bezel features a matt black aluminum tachymeter ring. The tachymeter scale is presented in a choice of colors - grey, grey-yellow or grey-red. You will see the signature Seahorse emblem on the screw-in case-back. The model is 100-meter water-resistant.

The dial and sub-dials have also been created in different color combinations, including:

• black dial with white sub-dials and accents,


• white dial with black sub-dials and yellow accents,


• grey dial with black sub-dials and yellow accents,


• blue dial with black sub-dials and white accents,


• red dial with black sub-dials black and white accents.

The 30-minute, 12-hour sub-dials and the small seconds sub-dial are adorned with a triangular Clous-de-Paris pattern. The date window is found at the 6 o’clock. The dial pleases by its supreme legibility as the hour and minute hands and the hour markers have Super-LumiNova coating. The slightly domed sapphire crystal is provided with double anti-reflective treatment.

The heart of the Speedmaster Racing watch is Calibre 3330, built with a column-wheel chronograph mechanism, Co-Axial escapement and silicon balance spring. The 31-jewel movement is operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph and gives an advantage of a 52-hour power-reserve. The precision of the mechanism is crowned by an official chronometer-certification. It is provided with a full four-year warranty.

The Omega Speedmaster Racing watch is teamed with a stainless steel bracelet or a black rubber strap.
