In 2011, the Omega Speedmaster family welcomes an innovative member - the Speedmaster Omega Co-Axial Chronograph. The novelty is animated by the Omega Co-Axial calibre 9300/9301. Having maintained some distinctive features of the original Speedmaster Professional, including the black dial with the Moonwatch-style hands and the black tachymeter on the bezel, it has acquired some peculiar features that make it stand out among other family members.

The heart of the watch, the Omega Co-Axial calibre 9300/9301, incorporating the Co-Axial escapement and free sprung-balance, will guarantee supreme reliability over a long period of time. The mechanism is also fitted with a silicon balance spring. The timepiece is given a full four-year warranty.
You will notice that the dial of the Speedmaster Omega Co-Axial Chronograph features two sub-dials instead of the common three featured by other Speedmaster models. Now, the 12-hour and 60-minute counters are found in the same sub-dial at 3 o’clock. The chronograph seconds hand is positioned in the center, while the small seconds are presented via the 9 o'clock sub-dial.

The Speedmaster Omega Co-Axial Chronograph watch has been also created in other variations – with an 18K orange gold case with a black ceramic dial and with a 950 platinum case with a black enamel dial, both completed with 18K gold applied indexes and hands.
