Omega debuts its new Speedmaster '57 Omega Co-Axial Chronograph watches. The novel timepieces pay tribute to the legendary Speedmaster chronograph born in 1957 and universally famous for its participation in numerous missions in space, with six lunar landings on the list. The Speedmaster has built a strong reputation of a rugged, reliable and timeless watch.

The new Omega watches have inherited the straight lugs extending from the case and the bracelets from the very first 1957 Speedmaster.

The new Speedmaster '57 watches are animated by the brands Co-Axial calibers 9300/9301 these are the first exclusive in-house Co-Axial movements that boast a chronograph function.

The column-wheel chronograph is presented via 12-hour and 60-minute counter hands found on the 3 o'clock sub-dial for most comfortable and intuitive chronograph-fucntion reading. The chronograph seconds hand is positioned in the center, while the small seconds sub-dial is located at 9 o'clock and the date window at 6 oclock. The two chronograph pushers function absolutely independently.

The Co-Axial calibers 9300/9301 incorporate a silicon balance spring. Silicon is highly appreciated by watchmakers for its non-magnetic properties, age-resistance and its perfect resilience coefficient, implying improved chronometric performance.

The 41.50 mm case of the new Speedmaster watches has been created in a variety of materials: elegant 18K red or yellow gold, lightweight titanium, a high-fashion combination of 18K red gold and stainless steel or classic stainless steel. Each variation is coupled with a matching bracelet or a stylish leather strap.
