Sinn U1 Watch for Divers
The Sinn U1 is a stylish divers' watch. The 44mm steel case of the watch is 1,000-meter water resistant. It is secured to the wrist with a rubber diving strap.

The steel used for the production of the Sinn U1 was ordered from a steel supplier of one of Germany's North Sea shipbuilding yards constructing submarines from the very same steel. This submarine steel is of an extremely high anti-magnetic quality. The material is highly resistant to harmful effects of sea water exposure.

The Sinn U1 is equipped with an automatic mechanical movement operating at 28,800 beats per hour. The mechanism is shock-resistant and anti-magnetic. The U1 matte black dial Sinn reveals clean layout.  read more

Sinn 857 UTC – Utmost Functionality and Durability
The Sinn 857 UTC watch was premiered at Baselworld 2009. The model accommodates an automatic movement that powers the second time-zone function. The peculiarity of the watch is its tegimented steel case and bracelet.

Tegimented cases are manufactured by Sinn's case-making company located in Glashutte, Germany.

Tegimented cases boast a hardness rating of 1,200 Vickers. You may compare it to stainless steel cases exposing 200-240 Vickers. The Tegiment layer of the case makes the steel harder and reliably protects the case surface from scratches and influence of other abrasions. read more

Sinn Offers its 917 GR Rally Chronograph
Last month, the German watch-making house Sinn unveiled its novel watch, the 917 GR Rally Chronograph.

This model exposes a countdown bezel, governed by the crown, located at 4 o’clock. Such construction enables the watch wearer to read off finish times with the fractional-second precision. The red numerals accentuate the most important final 15 seconds.

The 44mm case is rendered in fully polished stainless steel. Both front and backsides of the watch are fitted with anti-reflective sapphire crystals. The case-back crystal has the inside anti-reflective coating, while the dial crystal features an anti-reflective compound, applied on both interior and exterior surfaces. The Sinn manufacturer uses its Ar dehumidifying technology to protect the watch case from fogging.

The upper counter indicates chronograph hours, whereas the lower counter, located at 6 o'clock position reveals chronograph minutes. The central seconds hand shows chronograph seconds.

The counter, placed at 3 o'clock, serves to reveal small seconds. At 9 o’clock position there is a display, demonstrating the power reserve level.

The date can be seen through the aperture at 4 o’clock and it is adjusted by means of the crown, located at 9 o’clock.

The 917 GR Rally Chronograph is animated by a somewhat modified Valjoux 7750 mechanical movement. Both shock and anti-magnetic, the Sinn watch offers 100-meter water-resistance.
