Meet Azimuth Singapore Commemorative Edition Watches

Oct 11, 2010
Azimuth is pleased to introduce two novel timepieces that pay tribute to the 45th anniversary of the independence of Singapore – the Singapore Commemorative Edition. Each model will be limited to 45 pieces. In 1965, the country gained its independence from Malaysia. You will notice '1965-2010' inscription on the dial, as well as oversized numerals “4” and “5” also hinting at the anniversary.

The Azimuth Singapore Commemorative Edition is available as a one-handed and two-handed model.

The new Azimuth watches catch the glance by their cheerful colors. They hold a true surprise – with a closer look at the dials, you will notice that the hour numerals are featured in a counter-clockwise way and the hour hand goes counter-clockwise(for the two-handed model, the same is true about the minute numerals and hand). It became possible with help of a modified ETA 2836 movement.

Both versions of the watch demonstrate a 42mm case sculptured in stainless steel. The case construction incorporates a domed sapphire crystal and is 30-meter water-resistant. It is presented on a calf leather strap fitted with a tang buckle.
Both versions are created with a red or white dial. Each piece will be accompanied by an individual certification.

The Azimuth Singapore Commemorative Edition watches are available starting with September 2010.
