The watch demonstrates a harmoniously designed 42mm case crafted in polished stainless steel.

The refined satin-finished or galvanized dial with elegant retro touches is created in black or silver. The face of the watch stands out due to its distinctive profile curving downward at the outer edge. Your attention will be caught by strikingly executed hour markers precisely cut into the dial surface with help of diamond-tipped tools. The time is indicated by white gold or rose gold hands. The hands demonstrate curved tips conforming to the dial surface. The panorama date window is surrounded by and a slightly recessed frame.

The face of the Glashutte Original watch is protected by a convex sapphire crystal provided with anti-reflective coating on both sides.

One more highlight of the Senator Sixties Panorama Date watch is a powerfully profiled sapphire crystal case-back. It allows the watchs owner to rest ones eyes on the heart of the timepiece. The watch is animated by the manufacture Glashutte Original Caliber 39-47. The movement holds a fine reputation as it provides remarkable timekeeping precision and reliability. Moreover, it demonstrates the brands famous finishing pedigree.

The skeletonized rotor demonstrates a 21K gold mass and gilt "double G" symbol. Beneath it, there is a three-quarter plate embellished with Glashutte ribbed patterns and gold-filled letters. The winding wheel boasts a sunburst pattern, while the elegant swan neck fine regulation spring reflects outstanding hand-polishing skills mastered by perfectionist artisans in the Glashutte Original workshop. The large balance wheel incorporates a flat hairspring, performing 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour.

The movement gives an advantage of a 40-hour power-reserve. The dial conceals the unique system of two numbered discs operating in precise motion so that the date is presented in its read-at-a-glance double digit format.
