Glashutte Original has created a new timepiece with the brand’s one-of-a-kind panorama date indicator. The watch will join the highly-acclaimed vintage-inspired Senator Sixties collection. The collection already comprises the first Senator Sixties watch featuring a conventional time display and sweep seconds, and a highly refined two-counter automatic chronograph presented with a larger case.

The new Glashutte Original Senator Sixties Panorama Date watch is sure to enjoy great success as it is equipped with a very useful additional function presented in a horologically advanced way.

The watch demonstrates a harmoniously designed 42mm case crafted in polished stainless steel.

The refined satin-finished or galvanized dial with elegant retro touches is created in black or silver. The face of the watch stands out due to its distinctive profile curving downward at the outer edge. Your attention will be caught by strikingly executed hour markers precisely cut into the dial surface with help of diamond-tipped tools. The time is indicated by white gold or rose gold hands. The hands demonstrate curved tips conforming to the dial surface. The panorama date window is surrounded by and a slightly recessed frame.

The movement gives an advantage of a 40-hour power-reserve. The dial conceals the unique system of two numbered discs operating in precise motion so that the date is presented in its read-at-a-glance double digit format.

The Glashutte Original Senator Sixties Panorama Date watch is secured to the wrist on a highly elegant alligator leathe strap. The timepiece is 30-meter water-resistant. It will be unveiled at Baselworld 2010.
