Oct 14, 2011
Seiko is pleased to announce its new Solar Pilot Chronograph watch - a reliable instrument for everyday wear.

The new Seiko watch comes packaged in a 43mm stainless steel case, round in shape. It sports a rotating bezel, equipped with a slide rule. The front side of the case is protected by a Hardlex glass. The water-resistance of the model is assured down to 100 meters.

The case is complimented by a black dial. It is fitted with applied hour-markers as well as hour and minute hands, inlaid with luminous coating. The display of the new Seiko Solar Pilot Chronograph watch marks the passage of central hours and minutes. Taking care of small seconds is a counter at 9 o’clock.

The chronograph functionality is provided by a 60-minute totalizer at 12 o’clock and a central seconds hand. The dial also offers a date indication at 3 o’clock and an alarm function at 6 o’clock.

The timepiece accommodates a Japanese in-house solar-powered caliber V172 quartz movement. Its power reserve constitutes 6 month. The caliber incorporates an energy depletion warning system.

The new Seiko watch goes on a stainless steel bracelet.
