New Tissot Seastar 1000 Watch for Maritime-World Explorers

Feb 16, 2011
Tissot has created a new boldly-designed timepiece for those fond of diving the Seastar 1000 watch. Equipped with a helium valve, the sturdy case of the watch boasts 300-meter water-resistance.

The new Tissot chronograph watch wins the heart by its reliable automatic movement and the design inspired by the maritime world.

The case of the watch measures 48mm in diameter and is sculptured from stainless steel. It incorporates a unidirectional rotating bezel, a screw-locked crown, pushers and screw-in case-back.

The face of the diver's watch offers supreme readability under any light conditions as its hands and markers are coated with Superluminova. The hour, minutes and seconds counters are positioned at 6, 12 and 9 oclock respectively. The date window is found at 3 oclock.

The dial is available in a number of variations, including the ones with blue or orange accents. It is shielded by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

The automatic Calibre CO1.211 animates the following functions: hours, minutes, seconds, date and chronograph.

The new Tissot Seastar 1000 watch is secured to the wrist on a stainless steel bracelet fitted with a safety fastening and diving extension or on a rubber strap fitted with a folding clasp.
