Omega Novelty: Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m "Skyfall" Watch

To mark the release of the new James Bond movie Skyfall scheduled at autumn 2012, Omega unveils its new Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m "Skyfall" Limited Edition watch. The world-famous secret agent, performed surely by Daniel Craig, will sport an Omega Seamaster on his wrist.

Like all timepieces in the Planet Ocean family, the novel member is the right timekeeping companion for underwater adventures. Incorporating a unidirectional rotating diving bezel and a helium escape valve, it boasts 600-meter water-resistance.

The 42mm case of the new Omega watch is rendered in brushed and polished stainless steel. It is teamed with a matching patented screw-and-pin bracelet fitted with a divers’ clasp engraved with “007”. The bezel will catch your attention due to its matt black ceramic ring featuring a chromium nitride diving scale.

The matt structured black dial displays the time with polished facetted rhodium-plated hands and applied indexes provided with white Super-LumiNova coating emitting blue light. The minute hand and the dot on the diving bezel emit green light. Due to this peculiarity, divers can keep track of their time at a glance. You will notice a 007 logo at 7 o’clock is and a date window at 3 o’clock.

The heart of the new Seamaster Planet Ocean watch is the brand’s exclusive new Co-Axial calibre 8507, built with a "Si14" silicon balance spring. The rotor shows off Skyfall 007 in black-varnished engraving. The brushed screw-in case-back has a sapphire crystal window that allows to see the movement.

It is important to mention that the novelty is provided with a full four-year warranty.

The new Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m "Skyfall" watch will be available in a limited number of 5,007 pieces. It will be delivered in a special presentation box.
