Welcome Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra > 15'000 Gauss Watch

Oct 10, 2013
Omega is pleased to introduce its new Seamaster Aqua Terra > 15000 gauss watch. The novelty is animated by the brand's highly innovative Co-Axial caliber 8508. The mechanism boasts supreme resistance to magnetic fields exceeding 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).

The new Omega watch features a 41.50 mm case rendered in stainless steel. The case is coupled with a stainless steel bracelet or a brown leather strap. The lacquered black dial is sun-brushed from the centre and embellished with vertical lines the signature feature of the brand's Aqua Terra collection. The dial is completed with brightly yellow details.

The innovative Omega movement does not use a protective container found inside the case. Instead, it contains selected non-ferrous materials, implying the movement itself is anti-magnetic. Even if exposed to a magnetic field exceeding 15,000 gauss, the movement provides reliable performance of a COSC-certified chronometer.

The protective inner cases, commonly used by other timepieces for eliminating the effects of magnetism, block the view of the movement and prevent the possibility of a date window. As the new Seamaster Aqua Terra doesnt use any inner case, it boasts a see-through sapphire crystal case-back revealing the Co-Axial caliber 8508. The watch also features a date window at 3 oclock.

The new Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra > 15000 gauss watch is 150-meter water-resistant. Its remarkable reliability is guaranteed by a four-year warranty.
