Girard-Perregaux unveils its new top-level sports Hawk collection – the Sea Hawk and Chrono Hawk watches.

The new Girard-Perregaux watches reflect the brand’s remarkable expertise and its identity codes. Featuring a distinctively avant-garde design, they have been created as reliable timekeeping companions even in the most demanding conditions.

The imposing cases, 44 mm in diameter, are fashioned in stainless steel. The cases are coupled with perfectly integrated leather or high-tech rubber straps equipped with a new security buckle. The dials offer great legibility and three-dimensional effect due to their clear, luminescent markers, indications in relief, and original decor. The novelties are animated by mechanical movements independently developed and produced in-house.

The new Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk watch boasts outstanding water-resistance - down to 1,000 meters, corresponding to the level of water-resistance necessary to meet the rigorous standards of ISO 6425. The diving watch has been designed to withstand the challenge of deep SCUBA diving. It is built with a helium valve. It also incorporates an anti-clockwise rotating bezel for dive-time calculations and a screwed case-back. The crown is protected by a smartly integrated crown-guard. The crown is located at 4 o’clock for supreme comfort of wearing. The case-construction is also characterized by superb shock- resistance.

The Sea Hawk watch demonstrates a fine combination of brushed steel details and those in rubber – the crown, the bezel, and the octagonal ring.

The highly-legible black dial is embellished with a motif inspired by the emblematic Girard-Perregaux Bridge. It is completed with luminescent markers and hands. Some elements are accentuated in orange - the power reserve and the small seconds. The date window is found at 1.30 o’clock, corresponding to the feeling of remarkable balance.

The new Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk watch is powered by an automatic mechanical movement - caliber GP3300. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, the movement gives an advantage of a 46-hour power-reserve.

The new Girard-Perregaux Chrono Hawk watch is sporty and at the same time elegant. The case design smartly unites sharp edges and a round bezel. The dial emphasizes the measurement of short time intervals.

The timepiece accommodates a mechanical automatic-winding movement, with the finishing reflecting the rigorous standards of Fine Watchmaking.

The novelty paralyzes the glance by its contemporary style. The black elements draw attention to the architectural nature of the model, from the flange to the octagonal rubber ring holding the bezel in satin-finish steel. The case is teamed with a rubber-lined strap in leather. The case-construction is 100-meter water-resistant.

The nicely balanced dial hosts two counters facing each other at 3 and 9 o’clock. It is also completed with luminescent elements - the applied markers, the hour and minute hands and the date. The dial is decorated with the same motif as the dial of the Sea Hawk watch.

The sapphire crystal case-back of the new Girard-Perregaux Chrono Hawk watch reveals the beauty of the movement beating inside.
