Concord Introduces Saratoga Chronograph Black PVD Watch

May 20, 2013
Concord introduces its new Saratoga Chronograph 2013 watch. The novelty is devoted to Saratoga Race Course that celebrates its 150th anniversary this year. The sleek sports luxury timepiece reflects its predecessor’s signature features that have been subtly transformed to come up with ergonomic perfection.

The famous race track, located in Saratoga Springs, New York, started in August 1863 and represents the oldest continuous racing tradition in America, taking place at the nation’s oldest sporting venue.

The all-new full PVD version of the Saratoga Chronograph looks casual and versatile. The black PVD stainless steel case, 42 mm in diameter, is presented on a mesh-look black PVD-treated stainless steel bracelet built with gleaming stainless steel links that provide greater flexibility implying supreme comfort on the wrist.

In comparison to the original model of the Saratoga Chronograph watch, the new one features larger counters, big date aperture and crystal clear Roman numerals. The anthracite face of the watch is surrounded by the signature eight-sided bezel and shielded by a 1.5mm-thick sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. The stainless steel case-back of the novelty is embossed with the Saratoga horses and secured by four screws.

The new Concord watch is animated by a chronograph quartz movement - Calibre Ronda 5130.b. The mechanism animates the following functions: hours, minutes, seconds, date, chronograph and alarm. The date windows is found at 12 o’clock.

The Concord Saratoga Chronograph Black PVD watch is 50-meter water-resistant.
