RSW Outland Watch - Brutalist Design

Mar 14, 2011
The horological company RSW is understandably proud to introduce its new Outland men’s watch. It strikes the eye with its ‘Brutalist’ design, which pays tribute to futurism and raw geometrical architecture.

The new RSW watch is featured in two versions: disc and chronograph. In the disc interpretation the traditional hands give way to the discs. Rotating to the rhythm of the movement, they indicate hours, minutes and seconds.

The chronograph version features hour-markers, hands and counters, inlaid with orange Superluminova. The hour, minute and small seconds counters are positioned at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock correspondingly. The date is presented in the aperture at 3 o’clock.

The black dial of each new RSW Outland watch is hugged by a round-shaped case. It is rendered in 316L stainless steel or black PVD-treated steel. The case can be set with precious stones. Its front part is protected by a top quality sapphire crystal. The case construction is 100-meter water-resistant.

Ticking inside the disc variation is an automatic movement. The chronograph version is powered by a Valjoux 7750 calibre movement.

The new RSW watch is accompanied by a black rubber strap, fitted with a folding clasp.
