Founded in 1789, the horological company Backes & Strauss has been steadily cultivating its expertise in the field of watch and jewellery making.
Now, the brand continues its streak of excellence by launching its head-turning Royal Berkeley 43 Bespoke watch. Characterized by the exceptional quality, it draws its inspiration from Berkeley Square, one of London’s great squares.
Offered in a limited edition of just 5 pieces, the new Backes & Strauss exclusive timepiece employs an 18kt white gold case, which measures 43 mm in diameter. It is highlighted by the sparkle of 44 custom cut and hand-set diamonds with the overall weight equal to 12.44 carats. The case is equipped with a crown, located at 3 o’clock. It is artfully encrusted with a custom cut diamond, which weight totals to 0.26 carats.
The peerless artisans within this famous manufacture have also fitted the model with an open sapphire case-back. It provides a fascinating vision of a reliable self-winding individually engraved movement. The caliber incorporates a rotor with platinum segment.
This mechanism brings to life the essential functions of displaying hours, minutes and seconds, which are elaborately presented on an alluring dial. It reveals a shimmering play of 96 custom cut diamonds, which weigh constitutes 15.41 carats.
The display of the new Royal Berkeley 43 Bespoke watch also includes graceful black-painted hour-markers. They are joined by four Roman numerals, dressed in the same color. Taking care of hours and minutes are black transparent hands. They are supported by a slim black seconds hand.
An elegant bracelet, breathtakingly inset with 189 custom cut diamonds, totaling to 78.32 carats, completes the features of the new Backes & Strauss watch.
