The new Rolex watch comes packaged in a 42mm case. It is sculptured in polished and satin finished 904L steel. The case sports a fixed 24-hour graduated bezel. The model is 300-meter water-resistant.
Housed in the case is a white lacquered or black, satin finished Chromalight display. Both versions are applied with long-lasting luminescence. The display of the new Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer II 216570 watch is equipped with hour, minute and seconds hands.
The fourth central hand with independent rapid-setting serves to indicate time in multiple time zones. The date indication is arranged in the aperture at 3 o’clock.
All the functions are driven by the manufactory-made bi-directional self-winding calibre 3187 movement. Paved with 31 jewels, it supplies a 48-hour power reserve. The mechanism is endowed with a non-magnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers.
The new Rolex watch is coupled with an Oyster-type bracelet. It terminates in an Oysterlock folding clasp with a safety catch Easylink 5mm comfort extension.
