Roger Dubuis Excalibur Collection Joined by Two New Majestic Models

The Excalibur watch collection from Roger Dubuis holds the iconic status in the world of Watchmaking as it comprises powerfully designed watches equipped with most innovative features.

The Excalibur watches accommodate complicated and extremely complicated movements and offer a variety of complicated functions, including the triple time zone function and the minute repeater united with the flying tourbillon.

This year, the prominent collection has been joined by two new models - the Excalibur Skeleton Double Tourbillon and the Excalibur Flying Tourbillon.

The Roger Dubuis Double Tourbillon Excalibur watch is highly appreciated by real watch connoisseurs as one of the most visually appealing timekeeping creations of Haute Horlogerie. Now, the timepiece is revealed in a majestic skeleton variation, equipped with a sophisticated hand-finished tourbillon movement.

The case of the Double Tourbillon Excalibur Squelette watch is crafted in rose or white gold and is characterized by meticulous attention to finishing. It measures 45mm in diameter. The case construction incorporates a hinged crown protector and a crenelated bezel, as well as sapphire crystals on both the front and back. It is 50-meter water-resistant.

The black rhodium-plated flange of the watch is set with rubies and features white transfer minute track and Roger Dubuis signature at 12 oclock.

The manually-wound mechanical skeleton movement, comprising 292 components, proudly demonstrates black rhodium-treated skeletonized bridges. The twin flying tourbillons rotate in opposite directions and complete a full revolution every 60 seconds.

The movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and provides a 48-hour power reserve. All steel components are finely beveled, reflecting the highest standards of the traditional Geneva watch manufacturing.

The Roger Dubuis Double Tourbillon Excalibur Skeleton watch is coupled with a luxurious hand-sewn crocodile leather strap fitted with a deployant clasp crafted in 18K gold and engraved with the brands initials.

The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Flying Tourbillon watch is one more amazing timekeeping creation unveiled by the brand this year.

The timepiece reveals the 42mm-in-diameter case crafted in 18K pink gold. It is 50-meter water-resistant.

The silvered sunray dial, completed with black Roman numerals, demonstrates a large aperture at 6 o'clock that allows to enjoy the beauty of the intricate mechanism of the one-minute tourbillon. The polished tourbillon cage with a blued steel hand indicating the passing seconds. The face of the watch is reliably protected by a sapphire crystal.

The Roger Dubuis watch accommodates a Roger Dubuis in-house manually-wound movement. The caliber comprises 143 hand-finished components. Due to its highest quality, the movement has been crowned by the "Poincon de Geneve" hallmark. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, and gives an advantage of a 50-hour power-reserve.

The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Flying Tourbillon watch has also been created with a black or chocolate dial.

The timepiece is presented on a hand-sewn crocodile leather strap fitted with a pink gold folding clasp featuring the engraved initials of the brand.

Both Roger Dubuis Excalibur watches debuted at SIHH 2009.
