For the first time, the new Roger Dubuis watch fulfills the new criteria the Poicon de Geneve. From now on, not only the timekeeper’s movement will be required to meet certain standards. Such crucial functions as power reserve, accuracy, water resistance, reliability and workmanship will be also put to test.
Distinguished by technical excellence and powerful design, the new Roger Dubuis Excalibur Chronograph Single-Pusher Flying Tourbillon watch is offered in a limited edition of 8 pieces. It employs 45mm pink-gold case, which conveys a true avant-garde spirit. Housed in the case is a dark-toned dial, fitted with Arabic and Roman numerals.
The display ensures central hours, minutes and seconds. It also offers a flying tourbillon at 9 o’clock, a power reserve display at 12 o’clock and a 45-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock. Moreover, the dial enables the user to admire a platinum micro-rotor, incorporated into the structure of the brand’s new RD580 calibre movement
The mechanism’s fascinating workings can be also admired through a transparent case-back. Integrated within the caliber is also an oscillating weight, stamped with the Geneva Seal on its exposed portion.
