Rodolphe Cattin

On December 8, 2010, Rodolphe Cattin made an announcement in front of the Swiss press - he is returning to the watchmaking scene and officially launches the Manufacture Rodolphe Cattin, with Thomas Meyer as the co-founder.

Celebrating the launch of the brand, Rodolphe Cattin unveiled the first collections of ladies’ and men’s watches. The accomplished artist, who describes himself as a designer, wants to unite the talents of contemporary watchmaking.

Coming from Porrentruy, Rodolphe Cattin is going to maintain the centuries-old watchmaking tradition and know-how of the cities of Neuchatel and La Chaux-de-Fonds. With the manufacture established in the Jura, the artist will create his timepieces inspired by the contemporary design of Paris, New York, Milan and Barcelona.

An epitome of feminine grace, the new Rodolphe Cattin watch captures attention with a myriad of jewels. Diamonds, sapphires, rubies and tsavorites generously cover the bezel of a sofa-shaped case and 4 little balls. The latter are joined to a white alligator leather strap.

The new Rodolphe Cattin Adore Tutti Frutti watch shows off a mother-of-pearl dial. Extremely pure, it is completed with two different-style counters, which display the time for different time-zones. Protecting the dial is a soft curved sapphire glass.
